110-year-old family farm on 60th Street that was home to big wooden bear is set for $10M redevelopment
Jami Woodling fondly recalls the pig, the ponies and playing basketball in the two-story barn behind her grandparents’ old farmhouse northwest of 60th and L Streets.
Passers-by might best remember the four-acre site by the big wooden bear that used to stand out front. (It had been carved out of a dead tree.)
Now, with its longtime residents gone, the “country oasis in the middle of the city” is about to enter its next chapter, said Rob Woodling of Omaha-based Foundations Development LLC.
