The Foundations Development team oversees every project from start to finish, working closely with our clients, local contractors and facility managers to ensure the success of each application, the quality of the structure and the satisfaction of both residents and neighbors.
Who we serve
Foundations Development works with local governments and non-profits committed to housing low- to-moderate income families, seniors and special needs populations. By collaborating with government and non-profit leadership, we are able to identify the tax credits that will help facilitate a housing development that fits their needs.
What we develop
We partner with local architects and contractors to design and build everything from single-family homes and duplexes to larger apartment buildings.
Rob Woodling
Rob started Foundations Development in 2006 with the goal of providing consulting and turnkey development for affordable housing projects. Over the past 18 years, he has developed $200,000,000 of affordable housing, creating over 1,000 units in Nebraska and Iowa. As company president, he oversees all operations and holds one of the highest success rate in the state for application approvals.
Rob’s commitment to his community extends beyond his day job to a variety of volunteer roles and community service initiatives in the Omaha area.
Previously, he worked as Director of Asset Management for Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc., and as an accountant for Goracke & Associates. He received his BSBA in accounting from Creighton University.
